We have a strange thing happening — a few of our users are reporting their tests "disappearing" from the view when working in the Tsst Plan.
sometimes, they add a test, then watch it appear then immediately disappear from the tree.

what is happening?

Hi,

Filters are the most common reason. It also may happen when certain groups have Data-hiding settings. Check it in Customization, Groups and Permissions settings.

GoBroncos,

This often happens when people forget to clear a filter -- it happens in most modules from time to time.

There is a row just below the button bar for the module (buttons like new folder/subject, new test, etc.). This row usually says ''No Filter Defined'' and we end up seeing all tests and folders.

When someone plays with setting private or public filters (under the ''Favorites'' menu), it will filter out some folders and tests. If they forget to clear it or to set it to some other filter, then add tests that do not meet the current filter criteria, they will look like they are disappearing.

simple solution would be to select the funnel button/pull-down and then select Clear ''Filter/Sort''.
