We want to use our shared object repositories in LeanFT so we don’t have to re-create them. Is there some way to leverage our existing repositories?

Yes, you can use the OR2AppModelConverter.exe command line utility. This will convert UFT's ORs to LeanFT application model files which you can add to your test project. You can find this utility in {LeanFT Install Folder}bin.

You can find detailed instructions on how to use this utility on the HP website at [http://leanft-help.saas.hp.com/en/12.50/HelpCenter/Content/HowTo/UFT_OR_Converter.htm?Highlight=Application Model Editor][1]

They have a great tip on this page, too:
''Tip: If you need to add many test objects to your application model at once, you may want to use UFT to record or learn many objects quickly, and then use the converter to bring the objects into your application model.''

This is currently only supported with LeanFT and Visual Studio. There is no application model available yet for LeanFT with Eclipse.
