HP Lean Functional Testing (LeanFT) combines the best of both the vendor-based and open-source worlds by morphing Selenium with some key functionality currently found in UFT. HP built this tool using other tools out there with UFT to fill a gap that many companies are looking for. Selenium is for only browser based testing which means it does not handle non browser-based popups and windows. Often Tester have to deal with more than web tools interface.
