Are you referring to what a method is for an object? If so, a method is an operation that is performed on an object such as a click, select, set, etc. The syntax in VBScript in QTP is object.method: Browser(''Browser'').Page(''TestPage'').WebButton(''Login'').Click Click in this example is the method.
