Why are my AppDynamics Database licenses showing several being used when I have only one database server?

I have installed a Database Agent and configured a collector to my DB2 database schema, but when I look at my licenses it shows that there are now 6 licenses being used, why is that? Shouldn't it be a one to one ratio per collector?

The reason you would see more than one license being used for a database agent is due to the fact that you have more than 8 cores on the database server. AppDynamics database agent license covers up to 8 cores per license, so if your database server has 48 cores, it would need 6 licenses to cover that CPU. Marked as spam
