I just added a user defined field under the "Run" entity and cannot see it in the manual runner (test lab). How do I get ti to appear? Thx

I'm using ALM 11 and I'm trying to customize the manual runner window to remove/hide some of the fields that are displayed in the Run Details section. I am having problem while installing Load Runner 9.5, the installation hangs at "Registering Modules" and never will progress. I also tried installing with anti virus disabled but it dint solve my problem. Can anyone tell me what is the solution?
