Change Project feature in Quality Center not working, the menu item does nothing when clicked, what do i do?

My Quality Center 10.0 user has project access setup in SiteAdministrator for multiple projects. However, when logged into a project, the user cannot use the Tools>Change Project feature because the menu item does nothing when clicked and does not show the arrow. How do i fix this?

If when logged in as the same user from another machine, the user can change projects as designed. When a different user is logged into the troubled machine, that user can also use the feature as designed. The problem is specific to a certain user on a certain machine.

Solution

Deleting the users QC client login configuration from their windows profile is the solution.

Delete the following file under the following directory and then open a new browser and log into Quality Center.

C:Documents and Settings\Local SettingsApplication DataMercury InteractiveQuality CenterQCClient.config
