The unspecified error is listed as a known limitation for Sprinter within the user guide and the Power Mode Limitations section. User Access Control being enabled is listed as the culprit in preventing the data injection from being performed correctly.
The issue seems to be limited to Windows 7, Vista and IE version 7.0 and up, and deals with recognition of Web objects.
The workaround is to modify your IE settings. The below list highlights several areas of concern that could be the cause of the injection error.
- Within your IE version, select Tools> Internet Options. In the Security tab, clear the Enable Protected Mode
check box and click OK.
- Enable the BHOManager Class Add-on if it is disabled. (Sprinter installs this add-on in Internet Explorer 7.0 or later. The BHOManager Class Add-on must be set to Enabled for Sprinter to interact with the browser and its objects.)
- Again in IE, select Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable or Disable Add-ons (or Tools > Internet Options > Programs tab > Manage add-ons button if the Manage Add-ons menu item is not listed). In the Manage Add-ons dialog box, click the BHOManager Class to highlight it. Then, in the Settings area, click the Enable radio button and click OK.
- Turn off UAC (User Account Control), if needed. This disables Internet Explorer's protected mode. For information on this, please check out this Microsoft [link][1]
