Hello. We recently upgraded our ALM from v12.53 to v16.01, and now we still have the qcsiteadmin_ALM1253_db on our ALM DB Server. How can we remove this database completely, securely, so that it does not impact the current functionality or data? Thanks!

We are upgrading an old ALM install (12.2) to ALM 16 and need to first upgrade to ALM 12.6 or 15.51 on the way. We were using SQL-Server with WINDOWS AUTHENTICATION for our old back-end database. When installing 12.6 (or later), we needed to first install JAVA, so we just got the newest Java 1.8 (Ja...

We cannot upgrade for a few months, but have many users who cannot (or will not) install Office 32-bit as required by older ALM versions (16.0 and below). When we try to use Excel Add-in with Excel 64-bit, it throws errors. Can we "dupe" something to make it work anyway?

When trying to register my ALM Client from the ... \ qcbin "Tools" page in ALM 16.01, I now see 32 and 64-bit options to run it. What is the difference? I know my OS (Windows) is 64-bit, so why would I need to install one or the other?

We installed ALM 16, and indicated for it to install ALM Client Launcher. It works fine, but now, we realize we do NOT want the "rocket ship" icons. These take users to a Download page to get the ALM Client Launcher and is a bit confusing to them. Many cannot even install it anyway without some Ad...
