A generic error occurred in GDI+

When certain users log into Quality Center they are receiving an error "A generic error occurred in GDI+" after they log in and the defects grid does not display only a giant red x is generated. Any idea what could cause this?

This could be used by the common settings for the user becoming corrupt. This is actually a display driver error, but it could be caused by a bad value in the common settings for the user causing the defect grid to be displayed in a non view able portion of the screen. The easiest way to clear the common settings for the user is to remove them from the project in Site admin and then re add the user to the project, this resets the users common settings and will usually resolve the error.

Absolutely. Just remove the user and then recreate his profile to get rid of this issue.
It worked for me.

As suggested in the post I recreating the user and once the user logged IN he was able to see the defects. But when he clicked on the Defect for more details, again he got the same ''A generic error occurred in GDI+'' error message.

Can anyone help me in this issue?
