ALM error exception from HRESULT:0x80040675

For one project in ALM 11.52, Oracle 11.2, we are receiving an error message: Exception from HRESULT:0x80040675

This occurs when doing any number of things, like making a new defect, attempting to run a test, or creating a new test, req, etc.

Other projects are fine, and server was rebooted. What might be the cause?

Hello,

Suggest getting in touch with your DBA and take a look at your Database back-end for your ALM server, for that specific project. Typically that error, and the actions in particular you mention, would indicate the tablespace for the project is out of room.

The DBA should be able to increase the tablespace size accordingly.

If DB access for Oracle is an issue, could in the meantime make a new copy of the project from ALM Site Admin which should default to a larger table space than what the current data level is at. Again not a permanent solution, so have DBA check into tablespace limits for size for all of your projects.

Will inquire with DBA. Seems to be accurate since can't create any new entities, runs or anything in the one project.

Rhea,
Try and set the tablespaces for unlimited growth (this is the recommendation from Microfocus) and that you have sufficient storage space on your ALM server repository storage drive.
