Attachements in ALM recently being added are showing as 0 KB?
Question ID: 107878

We are experiencing an issue in which our recently added attachments are showing as 0 KB and they are not showing within the ALM as being saved. When we try to access the attachments they are not there or visible. What could be the issue here as the older ones still work correctly and we haven’t patched or done anything to the server permissions or access?

Hello HomerJ,

I have seen this numerous time before, so I would check the following:
Check the type of DB that is being used for you ALM and that you have sufficient available storage on both the server and the DB to save everything and that no permissions have been changed on the DB, DB accounts, and the ALM server accounts and the service account running the ALM services.

Hope this helps,

Thanks. We checked those and we were in fact out of free storage space on the root drive on the App server. We freed up some space and it started working normally again.
