Automatic Runner error ”Host is locked by another test”

Hello. We are receiving an error message in our Automatic Runner in ALM when we use a batch file and run test scheduler to kick off our UFT tests. The error that displays is – "Host is locked by another test. Waiting…". Can you advise what is causing this issue to occur?

Hello. The reason this is issue is occurring, is because UFT is still in the process of running a test. Since you are trying to kick off another test set before the previous one has completed, UFT hasn't had time to fully complete the run before starting the next one, and this is causing the test to lock the host. In order to prevent this issue from reoccurring, you will need to allow more time in between test runs. I hope this helps. Marked as spam
