Can I work on UFT 11.5 tests with QTP 11?

I am working on upgrading but not all of my team is going to upgrade at once. I am wondering if I can edit UFT 11.5 test with QTP 11.

HP has stated: Scripts that are created or saved within a higher version of FT products are not guaranteed to run in earlier version. The scripts created or saved in earlier versions can be replayed in higher versions only. I would not recommend mixing QTP and UFT test editing. Marked as spam
