Cannot delete test instance from test lab

Have ALM 11, patch 10. We have users assigned to a group that only can Create, Update and Delete. All delete ability is unchecked except for this area of test lab, and Delete By Owner is checked. But owners in fact cannot delete their test instance/run information. I don’t recall having this issue in QC10.

This is an issue that HP has fixed within patch 11. QCCR1J27334 covers this very issue: User could not delete a test Instance in cases where the Delete Test Instance and Delete Run permissions were set to ''By owner only,'' even if the same user was the owner of those entities. An upgrade of your patch is the way to correct your issue. That said, patch 12 is the current release patch and the one you should upgrade to at this time. Patches for QC/ALM are cumulative, so installing patch 12 will get you all fixes in all prior patches. Marked as spam
