Can’t Create Excel Reports in ALM 12.55?

Hello,
We have recently upgraded from ALM 11.52 to ALM 12.55 and after the upgrade we have registered the clients and updated all of the Excel add-ins. What the users are finding is that when they go into the dashboard module into the analysis view they are no longer able to generate Excel reports as they have been able to in the past, The option is no longer available in the dropdown selections for generating a new report. How do we get this option?

Helo HomerJ,
As of ALM12.xx the functionality has been removed. the alternative is the more powerful and better formatted Business Views for Excel. However if you wish to use the legacy way of generating reports the do the following:
1) Log into SIte Admin
2) Select the Site Configuration tab
3) Select the add new parameter button and a pop up box appears
4) Enter the parameter: ENABLE_CREATE_LEGACY_EXCEL_REPORT in the parameter name box and the value Y in the vallue box and accept the paramter.
5) Verify parameter is in the listing (it is dynamic and doesn't require a restart of the services).
6) Log into a project and test that the functionality is restored.
