Changing the test type from manual to automated

I need to change the System Filed "Test Type" to Automated in test case, how can I modify the field in system level?

The test type field cannot be modified to accept any string. The test type must be one of those that are integrated into the Quality Center application (example - QuickTest-Test, Performance-Test, Service-Test, etc.). If you are using an automation tool that has a supported integration, you can create the test as new with the intended test type or you can convert the test to the intended test type within the testing tool. You could also look into programatically creating your own custom test type. Marked as spam
