Error with Screen Recorder connection to ALM on XP client

Trying to get HP Screen Recorder to work on a XP client machine. I have installed from the add-ins page, and when launched, it prompts for QC url and once entered I click on OK and get error:

Level: Error [HP.QC.InternalIntegration.QCConnectivityHelper] Exception caught
QCConnectivityHelper – Exception caught: Failed Hosting the Spider ActiveX
Inner Exception message:
Could not load file or assembly ‘interop.ALPLoader, Version=11.9.9.9999, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=792843134cf0407a’ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Stack Trace:
at HP.QC.InternalIntegration.SpiderHost..ctor(QCConnectivityHelper connectivityHelper, SpiderContext spiderContext, Boolean isolatedDeployment)
at HP.QC.InternalIntegration.QCConnectivityHelper.DownloadAsync()

HP has a knowledge base article on that exact error.
Their solution is as follows:

Cause

Non admin Windows XP users cannot access and save files in %ALLUSERSPROFILE%Application DataHPALM-Platform-Loader

Fix

On the affected workstation the user should manually copy file ''interop.ALPLoader.dll''to %ALLUSERSPROFILE%Application DataHPALM-Platform-Loader

Also to add, be sure to have the latest version of HP Quality Center Connectivity Add-in installed on your client machines. And stay current on patch levels!
