I have confirmed that Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 (32bit) installed on my PC. My query is specific to Office Plus 2010, Is HP ALM 11.52 PATCH 1 compatible with the Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010? If yes, What could be the standard process to install the Business view excel add-in?

Yes, ALM is compatible with the All the Microsoft package including the Professional Plus 2010.

Regarding the installation problem that could happen due a cache of ALM so you could try to delete the TD_80 folder located on (User/Your user/AppData/Local)

if It happens again. I would like to recommend you to always install the BV Excel add-in directly from the project since this will install the correct one.
