When generating Excel reports from ALM 12.21, we are seeing information that should be restricted appearing for certain users. Not sure why this data is being seen as it was hidden under Customization.

Hello,

Any users who belong to groups that utilize data hiding filters, will be able to access the hidden data via Excel reports.

Any data that truly needs to be restricted, needs to be set under User Group and Permissions via the Project Customization screen. Groups can excluded from performing Excel report tasks, as well as the removal of other rights per module. Look to the Dashboard group under Permissions to see the options for rights on Excel Reports.

That seems to be the ticket. Just limited what some users could do with the Excel Reports under permissions.
