False Negative in CheckPoint

We are currently experiencing an issue with one of our check points. It is testing a text box for a value of 300.00 and it’s failing. However, when you look at the report its showing the value was 300.00. Screen shot is attached.

I had similar problem when developers changed the AUT and the new version returned ''{SPACE}300.00'' and the checkpoint was checking for ''300.00''. Changed the checkpoint to a regular expression ''s?300.00'' and the area providing false fail started passing. Marked as spam
