Another way is to type in the Browser address box the following:

http://[Your Server]/qcbin/About.htm

**Note:** Replace [Your Server] with your QC server. ***ALSO*** this URL is case sensitive so make sure the '**A**' in **A**bout is capitalized.

Be aware that sometimes the About page doesn't get correctly updated and reports the incorrect patch level, the build number is the most reliable way to find out exactly what patch is installed.

Hi HomerJ,
The patch level can be found after logging into Quality Center/ ALM. You would then select the Help option within the menu bar of Quality Center/ ALM and not the browser itself (for ALM versions 11 and 11.5 it can be found on the top left side and for QC versions 10 and prior it will be on the top right side). Select the Help menu and then select the ''About HP '' selection. A pop up box should then appear with the different build numbers (example 11.0.0.7274) pertaining to the different modules installed. They should all match the same build level (these can reported to the support personnel and they can tell you the exact build installed). Within that box you will see a button that states ''Additional information'' which when pressed launches another browser/ tab with the patch level spelled out as well as additonal information about the version of Quality Center/ ALM installed and processes being used, such as JBoss or IIS, etc.

I hope this helps you.
Dan

For ALM versions 12.xx and later the look of the desktop client has changed. Finding the build within the Site Admin is the same as it has been throughout all previous versions by selecting the Help>About Application Lifecycle Management menu options in the upper left of the client (underneath the HP logo tool bar), but within the desktop client it is now on the lower left side under the modules by clicking the Help? link and then on the right side in the upper header of the window that opens will be all the patch and relevant build information.

Hope this helps,
Dan
