Hello,

Hello,
Is there a way to get the exact date a test case or a requirement was checked out?
I need to verify which items were checked out before a specific date and am unsure how to get that information if it is even possible>

Thanks,
HomerJ

Hello HomerJ,

Since all you are wanting to do is see the currently checked out versions that task is easily accomplished by selecting View>Test Grid and View Grid filters.  Then you will add the following fields to the grid view for the test plan:  Version Time, Version Date, and Version status to the grid view.   Then to sort on them you can select the filed you want to apply sort filters to, such as Version Status can be set to 'Checked_Out" by clicking in the grid filter box for the Version Status column.  You could further filter by the version date by clicking in that filter box and setting a date filter.

The same thing for requirements would be to set the grid view and grid filters box views and then add the following comments to display for the grid view: Version Check Out Date, Version Check Out Time, and Version Checked Out By (if you care to know the user that checked it out).

This should achieve the results you are requiring,

Dan
