Getting errors installing HPE ALM 12.53 on our non-prod server

Once we have completed the installation wizard and the installation starts we are getting the following error during the installation. Configuration failed and Deploy Engine failed: com.hp.alm.platform.exception.CtdException: Trying to copy non-existing directory C:\\Program Files\\HP\\ALM\\ALM\\AppResources\\readme What are we doing wrong.

You are not doing anything wrong there is a known issue when installing HPE ALM 12.53. What you will need to do is to go into the director where you extracted the ALM installation files and copy the readme file and paste it into AppResources Here is a link to the HP Knowledge Base article that I used when I ran into this problem.
