How can I fix Tableau Desktop calculated field text that is overlapping?

I recently got a new laptop and installed Tableau Desktop. Every time I open up the calculated field editor and start typing, the text in the calculation window starts to overlap itself and becomes somewhat difficult to read. I have attempted to ctrl+ zoom in or out in the calculation window, but it didn’t seem to make much of a difference. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Attachments:

I am not entirely sure what version of Tableau Desktop you are using but I had a similar issue in another application and the problem was related to the actual windows text size settings. Try going to the windows display settings and look for where it allows you to "change the size and text on the main display" If you have turned that up higher than 100% on your new machine it could be the culprit!
