How can I see the error details within QC/ALM?

Hi,
We have recently upgraded from QC 10 to ALM 11.52. We are having the issue where when an error occurs the error never gives any information about what is happening. Prior to the upgrade, when an error occurred we were able to see details about the error and aide us in our trouble shooting efforts. IS there something we must add or we did wrong that is not enabling us to see the errors anymore?

HI HomerJ,

The reason may be because of a setting missing or misconfigured in your Site Configurations within the Site Admin. You need to do the following:

1) Log Into Site Admin
2) Select the ''Site Configuration'' tab at the top
3) See if the following parameter is present (if not add it using the new parameter action from the top menu) with the 'N' (change to 'N' if present and set to 'Y' currently) value for it: DISABLE_VERBOSE_ERROR_MESSAGES
*Note you may need to restart the services to get the parameter to take if it wash't present prior to

This should allow the details of the error messages to be displayed.

Thanks. It was therev but was enabled with a 'Y' parameter. We changed that to 'N' as suggested and it works.
