We recently upgraded to Performance Center 11.52. I would like to know if we can run Goal Oriented Scenarios in PC11.52. In PC11 this was not available but our test team was able to run it from PC Host machine. Since in PC11.52 they cannot access PC Host/Controller they cannot run these scenarios. They are in a situation where they needed to run tests with Goal Oriented Scenario.

If you want to run a goal oriented scenario, you have to execute the wlrun.exe. It is the only way to run it at this time. The HP recommendation is for general use and the testers should not use the host as a scripting machine(s).

When you do run the controller locally on a host machine, the best policy and to avoid data lose is to set the host machine to a ''Maintenance'' or ''Non-Operational'' mode in Performance Center.

Please try the following work around.

* Open of the HOST machines from the PC environment.
* Locate the installation folder > Go to bin > Launch the Controller (wlrun.exe).
* Select the Goal Scenario Option and build the Scenario manually
* Execute the scenario
