Hello. The steps below will walk you through the process of enabling the ALM Excel Add-in logs.
1 - On the client where the Excel addin is installed, navigate to the following path:
C:Program FilesHEWLETT-PACKARDAddins - Versions 12.55 and Older
C:Program FilesMicro FocusAddins - Version 12.60
2 - Open the file ''HP.ALM.ExcelAddIn.dll.config'' for editing
3 - Locate and edit the following block of script:
4 - Change the value 'INFO' to 'DEBUG' in the 'level value' field.
Possible values - ALL, DEBUG, INFO, WARN, ERROR, FATAL, OFF
5 - If Excel is running when you edit the config file, restart it to invoke the changes
Note: The logs can be found in the following location:
C:Users\AppDataRoamingHP ALM Excel Add-inLogs - Versions 12.55 and Older
C:Users\AppDataRoamingMicro Focus ALM Excel Add-inLogs - Version 12.60
Be sure to change the log level back to 'INFO' after you have recreated the issue and gathered the logs.
