How to get db connection string to use in UFT

Does anyone know an easy way to get the correct database connection string? I’m pretty new to database stuff and it’s sort of confusing.

One thing you can do to get a good connection string is connect to the DB via ODBC DSN and then do a database checkpoint using the Specify SQL statement manually. On the second screen click Create...
DB connection

Choose the data source that you've successfully connected to, then the connection string will be in the following screen:
