HP-sync links to QC with HTTPS is not connecting

We just changed our ALM URL to Https and currently when i ran the Synchroniser Client with option "https" checked, it throws "Unable to connect to the remote server Check your server’s availability" error.

What is causing this?

The HTTPS checkbox on HP-sync Client is NOT for connecting to QC wtih HTTPS, it is for connecting HP-Sync client with HP-Sync Server ONLY.

Uncheck it, from your HP-sync Client login box, login to HP-sync server, THEN change your URL on your LINK in HP-Sync to address the HTTPS version of your QC/ALM server.
