HP UFT and Web Browser with ALM
Question ID: 106661

Windows opened before UFT is launched used to be ignored and only windows opened after were recognized. In our latest version UFT can also see windows opened prior to opening UFT. This has become an issue is running tests from Quality Center (ALM) which must be opened in IE. When UFT runs a script it sees the ALM window. It didn’t used to do that.

This is currently a major issue

@ruckjames Open UFT, and with a GUI test with Web Add-in open, go to Tools menu > Options > GUI Testing > Web (on the left-hand pane) > Web/General > Check/enable ''Ignore ALM'' > Click OK > Close UFT ------
How can we do the same settings through script.
I mean by creating object of QTP and check ''ignore ALM'' check box, through script.
