I want to see both my AUT and UFT at the same time during test runs but UFT covers it

I have resized the UFT window to about half my screen and my AUT about half my screen when I’m creating tests. But when I click Run, UFT expands to full screen and covers the AUT. This prevents me from seeing what happens on the AUT and sometimes causes object recognition issues.

UFT has 3 window ''modes'': Edit, Run and Record. For each mode, UFT's window can be resized and it will retain that size the next time it enters the mode.

To set each mode:

**Edit mode:** Just size the window how you like it when UFT is not running.

**Run mode:** Pause a running test or put a breakpoint. When the test is paused, size the window how you like it.

**Record mode:** Click the record button. Size the window how you like it.

UFT should retain the 3 window sizes for the next time you enter the different mode.
