What is the specific problem you are encountering? Excel 2007 is supported by the Excel add-in for ALM QC 11. Did you uninstall the add-in you had (from your previous QC version) and download and install the new add-in from QC 11?

Don't forget to also run the ''ALM Client Registration'' link from the Add-in's page.

If you are able to see the Import to QC option within excel after you install it? But, you are not able to get past the wizard mapping portion of the Excel Add-in. Check your authority to your Excel add-in files in your local directory
The AddIn requires read/write user access to the XLSTART folder in Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice14 which allows the AddIn to write the map to XLSTARTTDAddinTasks.

The screen print below shows how the to grant your account full access to XLSTART and all folders beneath it. The example is for Office11 (Excel 2003), but I have been told by Orasi that the same would apply to Windows 2010 (Office14).

IF you are not able to then contact the help desk to give you full access to XLSTART (and sub folders), and test with Excel 2010.

Right click over folder XLSTART and select Properties, then click on Security Tab, then click Edit
Then select Add, enter in your network account, then click ok.
Select all ck boxes for your network account to grant yourself write access. Click apply then ok.
Restart Excel, this should allow you to run the add-in.
