In LRP2020 Sp2 is it possible to set the controller to load the first Vuser to starts on LG 1, Vusers 2 on LG2, Vuser 3 on LG3 and repeat for 900 Vusers?

we need to load/run the Vuser on the LGs in “round robin” method.

for 1 script 900 Vuser on 9 GLs

  • Vu1 = LG1
  • Vu2 =LG2
  • Vu3 = LG3
  • Vu4 = LG4
  • Vu5 = LG5
  • Vu6 =LG6
  • Vu7 = LG7
  • Vu8 = LG8
  • Vu9 = LG9
  • Vu10 = LG1
  • Vu11 =LG2
  • Vu12 = LG3
  • Vu13 = LG4
  • Vu14 = LG4
  • Vu15 = LG5
  • Vu16 =LG6
  • Vu17 = LG7
  • Vu18 = LG8
  • Vu19 = LG9

Yes, it is possible; however, it take a lots of time to setup, in cases with a larger number of Vuser to spread out across the LGs.

  1. Create a new controller scenario
  2. Add the script(s)
  3. Add the LGs
  4. Verity the number of Vusers and the ramp-up, duration, ramp -down setting
  5. Select the script to highlight (if more than 1 script)
  6. Assign Vuser to LGs
    1. Select the "Virtual User" icon to Openm the "Vuser(#)" dialog box
    2. First at the top, Select the LG named in the list of LG for the Vuser and change to:
      • Vuser 1 = LG1
      • Vuser 2 = LG2
      • Vuser 3 = LG3

  1. Repeat until the Vusers are all assigned.
  2. SAVE the scenario.
    1. Since this will take some time to setup be sure to save it.

See picture.

Hope this helps
