Install of LeanFT not working

We installed UFT 12.53 recently and have decided to try LeanFT as well. We ran the "Change" setup to add LeanFT to the machine, but it did not work, saying Node.js 4.1.2 is missing, even though we installed Node.js previously.

Private answer

A clean uninstall/reinstall of UFT including LeanFT should resolve this. HP is working on fixing this problem in the next release.

HPE has released the following steps (from [KM02466222][1]) to resolve this issue as well: > 1. Start cmd.exe > > 2. Run the following command: msiexec /i > {F6D39C4A-E368-461C-B9DE-31C0C7546CCC} > NODEJS412=1 > > 3. In UFT setup dialog, click Change and enable the LeanFT feature [1]: https://softwaresupport.hpe.com/km/KM02466222
