Is there and Alternative to Octane synchronizer?

We are using ALM Octane and we are trying to setup the Octane synchronizer and we are having a very difficult time with getting it setup and working. Is it really necessary to setup 2 machines for the integration bridge and the sync server, also they require Linux are there any windows installers available for these?

My suggestion would be to abandon installing the Octane synchronizer all together. Since you are using a Micro Focus product on one end (i.e. Octane) you can use Micro Focus Connect Core free of charge. There are many benefits to using MF connect, the first is that it is now the preferred synchronization tool for all Micro Focus products including Octane. Another added benefit is that you only need one server vs 2 servers for the Octane synchronizer, and the installer is for Windows or Linux. Marked as spam
