issue with Physical Directory of Domains and Projects

I am setting up domains in site admin as part of our upgrade process from version 11 to version 12.20. I noticed when I create a domain and then delete it, the physical directory will increment. For example, I create the domain "MY_DOMAIN" the first time, the physical directory is "C:\\ProgramData\\HP\\ALM\\repository\\qc\\MY_DOMAIN\\". If I delete it and create the domain again, the physical directory is "C:\\ProgramData\\HP\\ALM\\repository\\qc\\MY_DOMAIN_2\\", and so on. Right now I’m looking at a physical directory reading "C:\\ProgramData\\HP\\ALM\\repository\\qc\\MY_DOMAIN_4\\".

How do I reset this to "C:\\ProgramData\\HP\\ALM\\repository\\qc\\MY_DOMAIN\\"?

This appended integer cannot be reset... it just happens and is sequential for the ''n'th'' domain you are creating.

When migrating project repositories to a new server, you may need to RENAME the parent folder (domain folder) to match what it is on the NEW server specific domain's detail tab when highlighting the DOMAIN in Site Admin.

If the project repository folder is in a DIFFERENT location than the ORIGINAL path from the OLD QC Server, you will need to MODIFY the PHYSICAL_DIRECTORY tag in the DBID.xml file to match prior to RESTORE'ing the project.
