Just Upgraded 11.52 to 12.55 – Trouble with copy/paste of test plan details from current QC instance to latest QC instance in the same project

We just upgraded our QC11.52 to 12.55 (we still have the OLD server active for now during migration). One of our users is trying to migrate some test plan entities from the old project to the new one using the 2 instance IE method and copying from old project with rt-click/copy, then trying to paste to new project in the other IE instance pointing to the project in the new server — getting "Failed to Paste Data".

Sorry, it is impossible to do a ''copy'' of a test (or any entity) from one server version to another -- Source and Target projects must be in the SAME version QC server. Marked as spam
