Last run report doesn't open in the HTML format in ALM for UFT service tests

Hello. We are unable to get the HTML version of the Last Run Report to display after a service test completes its run from ALM. When the test is run from UFT, the HTML format of the Last Run Report displays as expected. When GUI tests are executed, the correct version of the Last Run Report displays in both ALM and UFT. Even though the HTML format option is selected in UFT, the standard version still displays in ALM for service tests. We are currently using ALM v12.21.90 with UFT v12.51.4766, and the tests are being run locally on the UFT machine. The issue occurs within all projects and all users. We have also tried the following, in an attempt to resolve this issue: – ALM Client Cleanup

I have found where this issue can occur when using service tests, as there are known issues in ALM when these types of tests are used. Micro Focus advises that there is a defect in the HTML reports, in ALM versions prior to version 12.50, and that this issue has been resolved in version 12.53. Micro Focus R&D has confirmed that the only solution for this issue is to upgrade your ALM to at least version 12.53, as there are no plans to fix this in any of the previous versions.
