LeanFT Runtime Engine could not be launched

I am getting LeanFT Runtime Engine could not be launched error when I try to open Visual Studio 2015 I am using LeanFT 14 and Visual Studio 2015 Community

Even though the post is about Eclipse, the same concept applies to Visual Studio. If permissions are not right, then you won't be able to launch the runtime engine. I do not recommend changing the port unless you absolutely have to due to some other application using it. I tried with the instructions you provided. Now I am able to Launch Remote Agent, But when I try to enable LeanFT in Visual Studio menu it is throwing error ''LeanFT could not be launched'' popup message Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot is appreciated Marked as spam

Another thing to do is be sure that your permissions are set up correctly on the machine. If they are not, then Visual Studio will not be able to launch the Runtime Engine.
