User based in Thailand gets the error “Main application process failed to start, contact your system administrator”.

When launching HP ALM for the first time.

Typically, this is caused by a permissions issue. The user does not have write permission on the ALM client installation folder.

"%UserProfile%AppDataLocalHPALM-Client"

Micro Focus provides a Client Cleanup utility. Have the user run this utility to remove any old client files. Verify that the user has write permissions to the above directory. Then have the user run IE as an administrator (right-click Run as Administrator) to install the client.
