Not sure if you have an answer yet, but here is how I would do it.
1) Copy the 9.2 Database and add it back to the server with a DB10 Extension
EX: copy MyCompany_Manufacturing_db add it back as MyCompany_Manufacturing_db
2) Expand the Repository directory (on your application server) and copy the project folder
EX: C:/Program Files/HP/Quality Center/repository/qc/Domain/Manufacturing (Where ''Manufacturing'' is the project folder)
3) Paste it back in the directory with a new name
ex: EX: C:/Program Files/HP/Quality Center/repository/qc/Domain/Manufacturing10
4) Open the dbid.xml file in the new Manufacturing10 folder
5) Edit the DBID.xml file (per project) to correct the following XML Tags:
a. = DB Server Path
b. = the name of the project's Database
c. = the Database Server Name
d. = the patch for the QC Repository (Change Mercury to HP)
6) Open the QC 10 Administrator and ''Restore'' project
(This will prompt you for the path to the DBID file)
7) Once the project has been restored run the maintenance on the project
a) Verify
b) Repair
c) Upgrade
I'm sorry that it took so long to get back (I dropped the ball but I (with my manager) am managing 35 projects along with the 10.0 upgrade)
Hope that this helps,
Gary
