I have just started a role as the QC-Sync admin (new to the tool).
We had another Admin getting ramped up on this months ago, but he left the company and I am the new Sync-Admin.
We have finally implemented ALM-synchronizer (trying to synchronize defects between two ALM11 projects), and I am running into issues with the synchronization and getting these warnings and errors in the log.

Warning

Creation: HP-ALM: No mapping to gossip type found for qcFieldType datetime returned STRING

ERRORs

GetMapper: No Field-Mapping defined, Integrity check will fail.
followed by:
Status: Integrity Check Failed.

It looks like you have not setup any field mapping!

In your link, it looks like you have done the ''connectivity'' (pointed to QC projects and provided credentials). There are other tabs related to the link - specifically the ''Field Mapping'' tab. This is where you choose various fields from Endpoint1 (the first QC project) and ''map'' various fields to corresponding fields in Endpoint2 (the other QC project). Don't forget to at minimum have mapping for all ''required'' fields (from both sides).

Then try running the Integrity Check again.
