This case was recently closed, but it appears to be back. Some users continue to get the following error when sending mail through QC. We haven't made any changes and most users do not see the error. Do y'all have anything else we can try? Unable to send email in asynchronous mode.

I can't seem to get my mail configuration for AutoPass License Server to work correctly. We are using a locally installed SMTP utility on port 3225. I can telnet and connect to this port and send sample email with no problem, however from APLS it will not send mail.

I've somehow forgotten my admin password for Autopass and I can't login. I've clicked the Reset password button and get a message that it's been sent. I never receive the reset email and can't log in.

I am unable to reset the password in ALM. When I click on the forgot password link on the main login page, it sends me an email with a link to reset my password. When I click on this link, I get the following error. This page can't be displayed * Make sure the web address http://:8080 is correct. * ...

Has anyone ever heard of creating a Defect FROM and email? In other words somehow have ALM or maybe the Synchronizer monitor and extra data from an email account and automatically create a basic defect?
