I have a string in LR that has different characters that has separate the fields in the data, how do I parse the string. The string contains "/n" carriage return character and other separators. I need to separate each field. I need some help with the syntax for this

Currently we have automail set up in QC, however there are certain conditions that we sometimes need an email to be sent to a user(other than the assigned to or detected by users), or a particular group when the status of a defect changes . Is there a way to do this through defect workflow?

Hi, i was wondering how I would go about relocating the log files. We have a separate netwrok storage location that all can access and would like to move the log files to that location rather than have them directly on the server?

Please Help, Someone deleted a folder from the test plan in QC. They were not supposed too. I know that i can retreive the back ups and restore the whole project but that requires losing a whole two days of test updates and results, not to mention any defects that were created. Any Ideas?

We would like QC to auto-email a few people when a new Defect is created or modified. I am wanting to automate an uninstall of an application or applications possibly in my QuickTest Pro script. Is there any way to uninstall an application? I don't see any built in functions to do this?

We are currently trying to run automated scripts from Quality Center connecting to machines that have QTP installed. When we click run the automatic runner is freezing 90% of the time and the wexectrl.exe process has to be stopped in windows. Is there any way to fix this? BTW we are using QC10 and Q...
