We are currently using Performance Center 12.60.  Does anyone know if Performance Center can be configured to use OpenJDK? Any input would be great.

For ALM-PC versions, 12.60 and higher, Java was removed and no longer comes with this application.  Since Java is a third party application, your team will need to apply any patches to Java.

The ALM Installation and Upgrade Guide on Page 56 states that Open JDK 8 can be used.

Micro Focus states the following:

"OpenJDK8

  1.  Download from the following URL: https://adoptopenjdk.net/releases.html.
  2.  Unzip the Open JDK file to a folder.
  3. Open the System Properties dialog box. In the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
  4. Under System Variables, edit the Path and add the Open JDK bin path

(for example: C:OpenJDK8_x64_Win_jdk8u172-b11jdk8u172-b11bin).

  1. To verify that Java was installed correctly, run java -version in the command prompt. "

I hope this helps.
