PostgreSQL was already installed message when installing UFT Mobile

Hello. We are trying to install UFT Mobile Server on a Windows 10 machine, and we receive the following error during the installation process: “The PostgreSQL was already installed on this machine. Please uninstall it first or use it through external DB support” We have tried uninstalling PostgreSQL from our machine, but the error still occurs. After the install kept failing on the main machine, we tried to install UFT Mobile on three other machines, and we get the same results. Can you please assist us with this issue?

Hello. I have seen this before, and it was due to some files being left behind from a previous installation. We were able to resolve the issue by re-installing the PostgreSQL, then performing a clean uninstall to make sure all the files were removed from the machine. After performing the re-install / clean uninstall of PostgreSQL, we were able to successfully install UFT Mobile on the machine. Marked as spam
