Problem Running QTP Script Through QC

Recently I have tried to run QTP scripts from Quality Center. Mind you this is from the Test Lab tab, not the Test Plan tab. Running the script through the Test Plan tab works, QC opens QTP as it should and loads the script saved in QC. No problems there. However, when I attempt to run from the Test Lab, the QTP Remote Agent starts running, but nothing ever happens. Aside form that, my QC UI locks and I have to end end task through the the Task Manager. Im Currently running QTP 10 (including the last update) as well as QC 10. If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated!!

I have recently started using the QC Explorer add-in. Aside from the occasional test that requires a few tries to run, I can run most scripts now. I'm not certain why I had difficulties with IE, but I'm just happy I can run them now. Also, just as a heads up, when running scripts on a browser, make sure everyone running them is on the same version it was written in, and same bit. I recently ran into the problem where the script would open the browser, but not do anything. This was because we were on the same version of IE, but I was on the 64-bit version rather than the 32-bit it was written in. Theres probably a way around it, but just something to look into if you happen to have similar difficulty. Have fun scripting! Marked as spam

I launches the Automatic Runner? You have selected Run All Tests Locally? What does the Status say? (Connecting - Run Test) Is QTP running in hidden mode? Marked as spam
