Public defect filter on invisible field for one user group doesn’t work in ALM v11.52

In prior versions of QC/ALM when you had a public defect filter on an invisible field for one user group, if a member of that user group made use of the filter, even with one of the fields being filtered on not having visible to his user group, still the correct and same results were displayed as for members of user groups having that field visible. This appears to be broken In ALM 11.52. Only the visible fields to the logged in user group which are part of the filter are taken into account.

This is a know issue in versions 11.52 and 12.(QCCR1J75566) this has been reported to HP and being investigated further. Marked as spam
