QC Server Muted

We attempted to export a very large project to a qcp file the project is over 100gb. The export failed but now the QC server will not start and we get an error that there is not enough space left on the server. It seems that even though the qcp file was not completed there is still space being occupied by the project that we tried to export. Where might this be stored, we need to delete this to get space back on the QC server so that the service will start but the file is not in the location where we saved the qcp?

First a project of that size will not be able to be restored using a QCP file even if you could export it successfully, usually the upper limit of a qcp file that can be re-imported is around 2.5gb, for this project you will need to move it by backing up the database and repository and then restoring it on the other end.

As for the space that is being occupied, the qcp file is usually cached temporarily in the temp directory before it is saved in the location that you specified when exporting the qcp file. I would search the machine to find the file name that it attempted to save, the format for a qcp file is ''projectname.qcp''

It was in the temp directory, I was able to erase the qcp and restore the space on the QC server. Thanks
